My name is Svitlana Dovganych.

I grew up in Ukraine, spending many of my days in the mountains, where a deep appreciation for nature and quiet beauty naturally formed.

My connection to clay began early and stayed with me through years of artistic education in ceramics. I was drawn to its softness, its responsiveness, and the transformation it undergoes through fire.

At one point, life simply moved in a different direction, and my creative practice paused — but the connection never disappeared.

After moving to Canada, surrounded once again by powerful natural landscapes, I returned to working with porcelain. What began as a quiet return gradually became something essential.

Today, through HEATGUST, I create handcrafted porcelain jewelry, shaped by hand and finished with real gold. Each piece reflects a balance of delicacy and strength, simplicity and depth.

Jewelry, for me, is not only something you wear — it’s something you connect with.
